Yes. All rates on this page exclude VAT, which is applied at the standard UK rate. Your total is simply the quote plus VAT, and we never add surprise call-out charges or hidden fees to your bill.
Is VAT included in the prices quoted or added on top?
VAT gets added on top of your quote. For example, if we quote £160 for rat control, that covers the work itself before taxes. Your invoice will show that price plus VAT at the standard rate.
Do you provide a full VAT invoice?
Yes. Killpest is fully VAT registered (VAT Reg No: 258446951) and provides an official VAT invoice for every job. This makes it straightforward for business clients to claim the tax back as a legitimate expense.
Our residential rates are calculated for a typical three-bedroom home. In general, treatments cover all call-outs detailed in the service summary along with any required equipment, treatment supplies and written proofing guidance. For instance, our rat control package starts at £160 plus VAT and includes two property visits, secure bait boxes, preventive advice and a 12-month guarantee.
Are equipment and materials covered by the quoted rate?
Yes. The cost of all required materials like gel, bait, insecticides or ULV solutions is fully included in the quoted price, so you will not see separate charges for supplies on your bill. The only time the cost changes is if an insect treatment is needed for a property larger than three bedrooms, which adds £35 plus VAT for each additional room.
What happens if the infestation persists after treatment?
Most of our treatments come with multiple visits built in from the start because pest control usually takes more than one trip to get right. If an unusually severe infestation requires visits beyond your standard package, we will always talk through the extra costs with you and get your agreement before booking anything. You will never be charged for extra work without telling us it is okay first.
Commercial pest control costs depend entirely on the specific business, taking into account factors like building size, pest risks, compliance needs and how often monitoring is required. How soon can I receive a commercial quote?
Killpest carries out commercial site inspections as quickly as possible, usually within a couple of business days of your inquiry. For the fastest response, reach out directly to our team at 01302 301401. We will then supply a clear written quote following the inspection.
Do I have to go ahead with treatment after a commercial site survey?
No. Once Killpest inspects your location, evaluates pest risks, reviews compliance needs and provides a written pest management proposal alongside prices, there is no obligation to proceed. You only pay for treatment if you decide to accept the quote and start the contract.
Extra room fees apply only to insect control, where Killpest charges £35 plus VAT for each room over our standard three-bedroom rate. Rodent treatments like rats and mice cover the whole building for the quoted price, no matter how many rooms your home has.
Which rooms count when pricing insect treatments?
We only count living areas such as bedrooms, living rooms, dining spaces and home offices. Spaces like bathrooms, hallways and storage cupboards generally do not count toward your room total. Does property size affect the cost of rodent control?
No. Rodent services such as rat control (£160) and mouse control (£160) are set at a fixed price regardless of house size. The extra £35 plus VAT per room fee is strictly for insect treatments like bed bugs.
